I like to explore various 2D and 3D mediums in my artwork. Using  various traditional 2D mediums such as pencil, charcoal or ink, and watercolour on paper, I create illustrations of scenes from scenes from stories, history, and landscapes; and also draw portraits. These drawings and paintings depict the world that can be explored through imagination and dreams. I want my illustrations to enrich the stories they depict and inspire the imagination of the reader, to give them an immersive experience into the world contained within a story. My 3D artworks are mainly installations that I use to provoke the viewer into examine their own beliefs and assumptions.

Ananya is a Singapore based artist. in 2018, she received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Annamalai University and is currently studying at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, for her Diploma in Fine Arts. 

Ananya is a multimedia artist who likes to explore various 2D and 3D mediums. Her artworks focus on a range of topics from fiction and mythology to nature, as well as contemporary topics.

She has created 2D works, mainly illustrations and portraits in pencil, ink and watercolour, often depicting imaginary worlds and characters, drawing inspiration from ancient mythology and fiction.Her art draws the viewer into a world of imagination.

Her 3D works focus on installations, drawing on contemporary and historical themes to draw the viewer into contemplating the deeper meaning behind the work.
